JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Manager – R&D will be responsible for new product development, product improvement, and scaling up R&D operations across multiple plant locations. The role requires strong technical expertise in bakery product development and pilot plant operations.
KEY RESPONSIITIES:
Product Development & Commercialization
Lead new product development and improvement of existing bakery products. Conduct lab and plant trials and ensure smooth commercialization.
R&D Plant Scale-Up
Drive scale-up of R&D operations across various manufacturing locations. Ensure successful transfer of formulations from pilot plant to commercial production.
Pilot Plant Management (Bakery)
Hands-on experience in managing R&D pilot plant activities in the bakery industry, including trials, process validation, and troubleshooting.
Quality & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with FSSAI and internal quality standards. Maintain technical documentation and product specifications.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Production, QA, Procurement, and Marketing teams for successful product launches.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong experience in scaling up R&D plants across multiple locations
• Mandatory knowledge of R&D Pilot Plant operations in the bakery industry
• Expertise in bakery formulations and process optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good documentation and project management skills
